Pie Potholders

This year it is my mission to deplete my stash of wool and yarn that’s taking up so much space in my room – and on my list of things to do.
So these raspberry and blueberry pie potholders are my first completed stash project.

I made a pair of these pie potholders as a gift for a friend a while ago and had some leftovers to make some for myself – but not enough…

They’ve been sitting in my stash, in pieces, for about a year or so now. I was missing more “pastry” coloured cotton to finish them. At the beginning of February, I finally ordered some more cotton.

Now I have some super cute potholders for my kitchen!

I found the pattern for them through Pinterest. I loved that there were different colours for different kinds of pies, so the options for personalising them were endless!

The pattern is created by Kelly Maust and I will link her pattern on Ravelry here.

The pattern was simple to read and a quick and easy project. I’d recommend it as great beginner project, or for anyone who wants to add a pair of these delicious pies to their kitchen inventory.
